Jon Swartz is a veteran Silicon Valley journalist with more than three decades of experience covering technology, having worked as a high-tech reporter since 1987. He spent 17 years as USA Today's San Francisco bureau chief covering Silicon Valley trends, before joining Barron's Group as a senior reporter and later serving as MarketWatch's senior reporter covering major technology companies such as Netflix, Facebook and Google.
