This week’s funding spans public-market capital, private-company equity rounds and a data center growth facility, with cloud infrastructure accounting for the largest deals. Across inference services, satellite connectivity and data security, the operational question is consistent: whether new capital produces capacity and controls that customers can depend on.

Oracle

Round: $20 billion Common stock and senior notes offerings | Sector: Cloud

Oracle completed $10 billion in common stock financing and $10 billion in senior notes on November 4, with BofA Securities representing the underwriters for both offerings. The proceeds are designated for general corporate purposes, including potential capital expenditures and debt repayment, rather than being earmarked exclusively for new cloud infrastructure. For enterprise cloud customers, the relevant measure is how financing translates into delivered capacity and reliable service, not the size of the capital raise alone.

fal

Round: $1.3 billion Series F | Sector: Cloud / AI Inference Infrastructure

fal raised a $1.3 billion Series F led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued investment from NVIDIA, to expand the inference capacity and team behind its generative media platform. The company supports image, video and audio models embedded in production workflows for studios, advertising agencies, retailers and game developers. As those workloads become part of routine operations, dependable throughput and predictable serving costs will matter more to enterprise users than the number of models available.

Pure DC

Round: $780 million Platform growth facility | Sector: Cloud / Data Center Infrastructure

Pure DC secured a $780 million platform growth facility to support its development pipeline and acquire future data center sites across Europe and the Middle East. The agreement includes an optional $1.1 billion expansion, which is separate from the financing already secured, and adds Citigroup Global Markets, First Abu Dhabi Bank and Infranity to its lender group. Platform-level financing can help secure sites before individual campus funding is arranged, but customers still need delivery commitments tied to available power and construction progress.

Northwood

Round: $375 million Series C | Sector: Networking / Satellite Ground Infrastructure

Northwood closed a $375 million Series C co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and DFJ Growth to expand its shared satellite ground network, hire staff and deliver existing contracts. Its modular antennas and scheduling software let commercial and government operators reserve communications capacity across multiple orbits without building dedicated ground stations. That shared model can reduce infrastructure work for satellite operators, provided coverage and service availability keep pace with the missions relying on it.

Sentra

Round: $150 million Series C | Sector: Cybersecurity / Data Security

Sentra closed a $150 million Series C led by Capital One Ventures to expand engineering, product development and its presence in North America and Europe. Its platform combines data discovery and classification with access governance, mapping human and AI-agent identities to sensitive data across cloud services, SaaS applications and on-premises systems. The enterprise priority is continuous least-privilege enforcement, since identifying sensitive data does little to limit exposure if unnecessary access remains in place.
